Journeyman Class Registration

Journeyman Beekeeper Application

     The next Journeyman class starts October 5th and meets via zoom for 10 consecutive Mondays, except e sip the Monday after Thanksgiving,Nov. 30th. We schedule for starting a course each October and each January and can add another course when there is demand. If interested in a future course, please email eliochel@snokingbka.org for an update or to be placed on a to-notify email list. A course usually consists of  10 consecutive weekly sessions  that start at 6:30PM  as class presentations, followed by as much time as needed for Q&A or discussion.

     Journeyman is the 3rd tier of the 4-tier curriculum of WASBA.org (WASBA): Beginning, Apprentice, Journeyman, Master. The curriculum is designed to be sequential, so the WASBA.org  Beginner and Apprentice certificates are to be earned before starting Journeyman. If you are unsure which class to register for, please contact us first. If the information below does not answer your questions, contact the instructor Eli Ocheltree, Master Beekeeper, before registering or paying the class fee.

      If you have questions about completing the prerequisite Beginning Beekeeper and Apprentice certificates, please call Eli 206-859-7392. Payment of SnoKing membership and of class fee will still be required, but experienced beekeepers, or beekeepers who have taken another beginner class, may wish to read the manual and take the online test. after self-studying the material. Email Eli Ocheltree at eliochel@snokingbka.org if you wish to do so.
     If registering for a class, please add eliochel@snokingbka.org and eliochel@gmail.com to your "Contacts" or "Safe Senders" list to keep our response to your application and payment from going into your spam or junk folder. If you are expecting a response from us, please also check there if you have not added those addresses.

     The $85 class fee includes the class manual which is mailed by USPS to the address on the application.

I earned the WASBA Apprentice Certificate with SnoKing Beekeepers or at this bee club or bee supply store:

Please indicate whether you are paying $30 SnoKing annual dues as well as $75 for the class, or you have just paid 2026-2027 SnoKing dues and are only paying $75 for the class.
Please indicate payment method we should expect. Please note that paying before clicking the Submit button will exit you from the form and all the information you have entered will be erased.
